The right equipment and machinery

The most significant thing is to choose the right equipment. The equipment should be hygienic and durable. It should be safe for workers and not take up too much space.

1. Stunning Chicken machine: A chicken stunner is used to stun chickens before they are slaughtered. There’s a tank full of water connecting to the electricity. When the upside-down chickens pass through this tank, their heads will be immersed in water and stunned unconscious. But the Halal or Muslin slaughter doesn’t need the stunning part.

2. Scalding Machine: It is used to loosen the feathers on the chicken, making feather removal easy. It is a bathtub-like tank that has water in it and a heating element at the bottom of the tank. The water is heated to around 60 degrees Celsius before dipping the dead chicken inside for 10 seconds before moving to the plucking machine.

3. Chicken plucking machine: It is used for removing feathers from the chickens. The Plucking machine is equipped with a lot of rubber rolls and can be adjusted to different angles to achieve the best plucking effect.

4. Pre-chilling machine: It plays a vital role in cleaning, cooling, and deacidifying the carcass after slaughter in the process of poultry slaughter line. The pre-chilling time is about 30 minutes. The temperature of the water is about 0-4 degrees. The size can be customized according to the slaughter amount of you.

You can choose the cutters for cutting chicken heads or feet by your needs. For further processing, there are also gizzard fat washers, gizzard skin peelers, weighing scales, meat cutters, and so on.
